eHarmony

I have a friend who is seeking to find a companion. They tried match.com, but that turned out to be a bust. I thought I'd urge them to check out eHarmony because I've just had good vibes about it.

Anyway, turns out eHarmony now has a service for enriching/salvaging marriage. Pretty cool. The questionnaire is crazy long, but even in the free communication report based on the questionnaire there were insights that made me glad I'd taken the time.

The 'full' package with personalized profiles, videos, expert advice, etc., runs $120 for three months. It's something to keep in mind.

Dear Mr. Henshaw...

My daughter was assigned the 1984 classic by Beverly Cleary, "Dear Mr. Henshaw," the story of a boy adjusting to his parents' divorce as told through letters to a favorite author and later the diary the author encourages him to write.

Since I am embarking on being an author, I was particularly impressed by this story, in how it reveals what I am learning are the realities of being an author.

Highly recommended!
